The Arathil
Bhagavathi Temple belongs to Arathil Kandoth family. The family
and the protecting family deity, Arathil Bhagavathi are inseperably
linked in such a way that one cannot think of one without
remembering the other.
This temple
is situated near Kayalod, near Pinarayi Panchayath in Kannur
District, Kerala and the main goddess is termed as Arathil
Bhagavathi. Arathil Devi is the presiding deity and Pazhassi
Devi as her subordinate. For the other two Devis Kakkra Bhagavthi,
Kelan Kulangara Bhagavathi and for the Devas Shree Sashthappan,
Gulikan and Vishnumoorthi seperate abodes are built and their
idols are installed
As there are
chaos and confusions every where, People from all communities
come here and pray and get relief for their problems. There
are many offerings here and Brahmin priests and other people
perform the poojas
As the temple
gets prosperity, the related place also will get the same
, All the people pray and work for the prosperity of the Temple. |
